Common questions, direct answers

Which materials are allowed in the container?
Household junk, furniture, renovation debris, roofing, decking, flooring and drywall are all fine. Paint, fuel, tires, batteries and freon-containing appliances are not permitted. Yard waste, dirt and concrete go in a dedicated heavy-debris container.
Which container do homeowners order most?
The 20 yard. It can handle a kitchen renovation or a full-home cleanout, and it is the container we deliver most often in Des Moines. If your project needs less space, we will let you know and bring the 10 or 15 instead.
Is a permit required in Des Moines?
Not when the container sits on a private driveway. If it needs to go on a public street, Des Moines requires a right-of-way permit — we will point you to the exact office to contact.
How many days can I keep the container?
Seven days come standard with every size. Need additional time? Call or text before your scheduled pickup and we will extend it.
Is same-day delivery available?
In most cases, yes — order before 1pm on a weekday and we will fit you into that afternoon's route. Orders placed after 1pm go on the first run the following morning.
