Which materials are allowed in the container?

Household junk, furniture, renovation debris, roofing, decking, flooring and drywall are all fine. Paint, fuel, tires, batteries and freon-containing appliances are not permitted. Yard waste, dirt and concrete go in a dedicated heavy-debris container.

Which container do homeowners order most?

The 20 yard. It can handle a kitchen renovation or a full-home cleanout, and it is the container we deliver most often in Des Moines. If your project needs less space, we will let you know and bring the 10 or 15 instead.

Is a permit required in Des Moines?
